Use this as your guide to learn about the candidates, their platform, and how they see the future of Fremont County, Wyoming, and the country.
THE BALLOT: The Primary Election determines candidates from each party to compete in the General Election.
Your primary ballot will contain only the names of candidates of the party with which you are registered.
If you registered as an Independent AND live outside of an incorporated town, you will not vote in the Primary Election.
Primary Election Day is Tuesday, August 16, 2022

How Do I Make Sure I Am Registered to Vote?
Do a quick check!
The Fremont County Election Office must purge the names of everyone from its voter database who did not vote in the last General Election, which was 2020, making these people ineligible to vote until they Re-Register.
So, make sure you’re STILL registered to vote, update your address or name, or change your party affiliation.
Call NOW the Fremont County Clerk’s Office 307-332-1088 or 307-332-1089, so you CAN Vote.
*Did you know that 66,301 people or 23% of WY's total registered voters were removed from the voter rolls in 2019.

The League of Women Voters of Fremont County (LWVFC) has prepared this Voter Guide for the General Election on Novemeber 5, 2024.
Ask for Your Absentee
Ballot Now & Vote From Home
Anyone can vote-by-mail in WY, but you MUST request an Absentee Ballot.
Call your county clerk 307-332-1088 or 307-332-1089
OR
Get it online Absentee Ballot Request Form.
Print it & fill it out. (Double-check the instructions to make sure you filled out the Absentee Ballot correctly).
Then, return it ASAP, to the County Clerk's Office by...
1. Email it, putting “Absentee Ballot Request” in the subject line
2. Drop it in the secure, ballot dropbox behind the the Lander Courthouse
3. Hand deliver it to the County Clerk’s Office
4. Mail it, best to drop it off at your county clerk's office.

If you receive your ballot right before Election Day Nov 5, 2024 hand deliver your completed Absentee Ballot in person to your county clerk’s office or Drop it in the secure, ballot dropbox behind the the Lander Courthouse.
On Tuesday, General Election Day, November 5, 2024 you may go to ANY of the Voting Center and Register & Vote
