How Do I Make Sure I Am Registered to Vote?

The Fremont County Election Office must purge the names of everyone from its voter database who did not vote in the last General Election, which was 2020, making these people ineligible to vote until they Re-Register. 

So, make sure you’re STILL registered to vote, update your address or name, or change your party affiliation.

Call NOW the Fremont County Clerk’s Office 307-332-1088 or 307-332-1089, so you CAN Vote.

*Did you know that 66,301 people or 23% of WY's total registered voters were removed from the voter rolls in 2019.

Ballot Now & Vote From Home

Anyone can vote-by-mail in WY, but you MUST request an Absentee Ballot.

Call your county clerk 307-332-1088 or 307-332-1089
OR
Get it online Absentee Ballot Request Form.
Print it & fill it out. Double-check the instructions to make sure you filled out the Absentee Ballot correctly.  


Then, return it ASAP, to the County Clerk's Office by...
1.
Email it, putting “Absentee Ballot Request” in the subject line
2. Drop it in the secure, ballot dropbox behind the the Lander Courthouse
3. Hand deliver it to the County Clerk’s Office
4. Mail it, best to drop it off at your county clerk's office.

How Do I Get A Wyoming Voter Registration Application Form?

Print the Wyoming Voter Registration Application Form, fill it out, then sign the form before a county clerk or notary public.
IMPORTANT: It MUST be notarized! Follow the directions for mailing it on the form.

What Are Acceptable Identification Documents (ID's)?

Provide ONE of the following:
* Valid WY Driver’s License or Out of State Driver’s License
* US Passport
* Tribal ID Card

How Do I Get an Absentee Ballot Request Form?

Print the Absentee Ballot Request Form, fill it out, then you can Drop it off in the Secure, Ballot Dropbox behind the Lander Courthouse, Or drop it off at the the County Clerk's Office, Or scan it and email it to the County Clerk's Office, be sure to Place “Absentee Ballot Request” in the subject line, provide your name, date of birth, residential address, phone number, and mailing address, Or Mail it.

How Can I Vote Early With My Absentee Ballot?

Go to the Lander County Clerk's Office in the Courthouse, & run your Absentee Ballot through the voting machine. It is located at 450 North Second Street, Room 120, Lander. Open Monday - Friday 8a - 5p.

3. Mail it, U.S. Postal Service recommends voters mail their ballot at least one week prior to the state deadline, by Aug 2, 2022 for Primary Election and Nov 24, 2022 for the General Election.
